Enrolment Policy
Edge Hill State School has an approved enrolment management plan.
Enrolment Criteria
Automatic Entry
Students enrolled at Edge Hill State School on the final day of the preceding year.
Applications residing in the defined catchment area for the relevant school year, with evidence of residency required.
Children and young people under child protection orders granting guardianship or custody to the Department of Child Safety.
Students placed under Education Queensland placement policy for disabilities, participating in a Special Education Program at the school.
Applicants with a parent or legal guardian employed at the school.
Selected Entry
- Enrolment for students outside the local catchment area depends on school capacity.
- Priority is given to students with siblings enrolled, families with a past connection to Edge Hill State School, transport convenience, or inability to enrol at another school.
- International Students.
Proof of Residency
Parents seeking enrolment under the Enrolment Management Plan must demonstrate that their child resides within the catchment area. The Principal may request the following documentation:
- Rates notice, electricity account.
- Signed unconditional house contract.
- Stamped and signed rental agreement for a minimum of six months.
- Rental bond receipt.
- Registration on a State or Federal Electoral Roll.
- Australian citizenship, permanent residence status, or eligibility under a visa category.
- Statutory declaration.
